Apply for approval or renewal of a Dangerous Goods training programme

The Training Approval Scheme (TAS) consists of two main parts:

  • Approval of training material
  • Approval of Instructors

Pre-requisites

It is the responsibility of the training provider to ensure all training programs and materials are reviewed (and where necessary updated) prior to submission, failure to do so will result in the approval review being suspended and the materials being returned which may result in the delay of approvals being issued.

How long is it valid for?

Once granted, a Training Approval is valid for 24 months (two years) from date of approval, unless revoked. After this date, if a Training Provider wishes to continue training, the renewal process applies.
