12 March 2010

BA cabin crew have regrettably announced that they intend to take strike action on 20, 21, 22 March, and again on 27, 28, 29, 30 March.  BA says that it hopes to run some services even if the strike goes ahead.  If you are due to fly on these dates, BA should let you know what is happening to your flight.  You should make sure they have your latest contact details.  For up-to-date information, keep in touch with the BA website.

If you flight is cancelled as a result of the strike and BA cannot offer you a suitable alternative, you have a right to a full refund.  As of today (12 March), BA were giving passengers the option to cancel flights booked for the period of the strike and to get refund - but the offer was only available until BA confirmed which flights it intended to operate during the strike period.  This AUC website will not be updated again before Monday 15 March.  Check with the BA website for latest information, including refund and rebooking options.

Our advice pages give more information on your rights when flights are cancelled.
